On Thursday 12 August we start the popular celebration of Sant Roc (around Plaça Nova), the summer festival of the Gothic Quarter, the oldest and most traditional of the city. This year marks the centennial anniversary while some some of the holiday traditions that are part of 230 years of the procession of San Roc, 180 years of Barrow-length and 100 years of the Globe the Captain Munyon.
